Pumpkin Festival

It is now held annually from Wednesday through Saturday in mid-September. In 1978, Governor James Thompson declared Morton the “Pumpkin Capital of the World.”

The next day I went to the mall and then in the evening for a party with Olavo and his family. Met so many goan there it was like being back in goa.. everyone asking in the same goan way "Are this persons sons, wifes, sisters someone!!!" :-) but hey if you are a goan you are a goan no complains about it. It was really nice with all the goan food and goan people
DEVON
The next day was a Monday Labour day so a holiday so we went to 'Devon' - it’s the Indian street. And my oh my was i amazed it has everything the salwars the jewellery and anything that’s Indian is there but triple times the price. But what was most amazing was the paan spitting side walks that were present only on this street.. Nobody would even feel that they are in Chicago. Did you see the poster of Sharuk Khan !!!!
WEEKEND WITH THE FAMILY

Waited anxiously for this weekend my aunt and uncle drove in from Canada. We had a great time we went to Wilberts house for the weekend we saw the beaches by the Lake. It was beautiful clear waters... It was an awesome time.
